DIT growth coaching improves the competitiveness, readiness, and ability of companies in South Ostrobothnia to adapt to changing markets by developing digital international trade.

The elements and environment of digital trade are constantly changing. For example, the opportunities to leverage artificial intelligence change and evolve every month.

The goal is to comprehensively develop digital international trade for companies and create the conditions for sustainable growth.

  • Companies receive information, methods, and solutions that help them succeed in the international market.
  • Companies are encouraged to expand their operations to international markets, increasing their growth opportunities.
  • Through coaching, the development of digital solutions promotes innovations that can lead to a competitive advantage.
  • Collaboration with other companies and international development partners opens new business opportunities and improves corporate resilience.
  • Taking responsibility into account in business models improves companies’ reputation and increases customer trust.
  • The development of digital international trade creates material that can be used broadly.
  • After the training package, South Ostrobothnia will have more companies engaged in digital international trade and more companies using digital technology.
  • In South Ostrobothnia, there will be an increasing number of companies developing digital foreign trade in a systematic and goal-oriented way.

The free growth coaching begins in autumn 2025 with strategy work for digital trade. Themes for 2026 include building an international brand and managing digital trade. The coaching days are carried out partly in small groups and primarily as in-person events.

The workshop sections during all coaching days are organized so that participants are divided into small groups, and each group includes at least one expert from Suomen Yrittäjäopisto or Viexpo to guide and support the group’s work.

1. Internationalization strategy for digital trade

The training day themes relate to strategy work and the key aspects of international trade strategy. The coaching package consists of three training days organized as in-person sessions, also utilizing an external expert in digital international trade.
