Viexpo in co-operation with Nordic Business Council and S&C Business Development will arrange a Delegation Trip to Atlanta. The trip will take place from October 28th to November 4th, 2023.
The Delegation Trip is a continuation of the successful Nordic Business Exchange Roundtable networking and discussion event that we arranged together in June 2023.
During the Trip you will have several possibilities to meet with local actors of interest. We will arrange visits, participate in a larger event and have B2B meetings. All of the activities during the Trip will provide business opportunities and possibilities to meet with relevant actors and potential business partners. The Trip also includes a Serie of Digital Trainings to be completed before the Delegation Trip. The idea is to prepare the company for meetings with relevant actors and potential customers and partners in USA.

All Inclusive price for the Delegation Trip is approx. 9 200€ per person (+ VAT).
Companies can apply for funding to cover up to 50 % of the costs.

BEFORE THE TRADE MISSION
In September – October You will begin live and virtual New Market Expansion Training.
Training will be done before and after the Trade Mission with S & C Development consultants in Finland
TRADE MISSION DAILY AGENDA
October 28 – Saturday
- Arrival in Georgia
- Transportation – Bus pickup and transfer from Atlanta Airport to Hotel in Peachtree Corners
- Late Check-in Confirmed
October 29 – Sunday
- Breakfast provided for the group in a private room
- Personal time until 5 pm EST – Rest and recharge
- Meet with hosts in lobby bar for introductions and networking
- Meet in lobby for transportation to dinner
- Evening dinner
- Transportation back to hotel
October 30 – Monday
- Breakfast provided for the group in a private room
- 7:30 am – Meet in lobby for transportation to Curiosity Lab for the 10th Annual SMART Community Exchange event where you will be recognized as honored guests (admission is included in your package)
- 8:00 am – 9:00 am – VIPNetworking and Registration
- 9:00 – Noon – Welcome addresses, Keynote presentations
- Noon – 1:00 VIP Lunch
- 1:00 – 3:00 SMART Project Updates and how to participate in projects
- 3:00 – 5:00 VIP Networking with attendees, speakers, sponsors
- 5:30 Transportation back to Evening Dinner

October 31 – Tuesday
- Breakfast provided for the group in a private room
- Transfer to Curiosity Lab
- Tour of Curiosity Lab and ongoing projects (see attached list of a few of the projects we will be visiting)
- Meetings with project heads and key companies located in Curiosity Lab
- VIP Lunch and discussions
- 1:00 – 4:00 Site visites: Ashrae, Pond, Atlanta Tech Villages & EmNovate
- Attend a Halloween Party at a local craft brewery and VIP After Hours with Peachtree Corners Businesses
- Dinner after the party
November 1 – Wednesday
- Breakfast provided for the group in a private room
- Check out of hotel in Peachtree Corners
- 8:00 – Noon Wrap up one on one meetings and at Curiosity Lab
- Noon – 1 Lunch and Discussions
- Afternoon transfer to the Hotel in Atlanta – Georgia Tech Conference Center Hotel

November 2 – Thursday (times may be adjusted but the activities remain the same)

- 8:30 – Meet in lobby for transfer to SCALI and Georgia Logistics Association
- 9:00 – Noon Tours, Presentations and one on one meetings with Industry Leaders, Innovation Center Leaders, Universities and Manufacturers and Logistics Companies
- Noon – 1:00 Networking lunch
- 1:00 – 3:00 Tours, Presentations and one on one meetings with Industry Leaders, Innovation Center Leaders, Universities and Manufacturers and Logistics Companies
- 3:00 – 5:00 VIP After Hours and Networking
November 3 – Friday (possible adjustments to the agenda if we have follow up meetings)
- Breakfast provided for the group
- 9:00 – noon Final meetings hosted by SCALI and Georgia Logistics Association
- Noon – 1 Networking lunch
- 1:00 – 2:00 Summary of the weeks meetings
- 2:00 – 3:30 One on one meetings to discuss next steps in the coming months
