In this webinar, we will get to know more about Träinnovationsklustret [The Wood Innovation Cluster] in Skellefteå, Sweden, which gathers the strongest actors that contribute to regional growth in the wood industry. It is a successful collaboration to highlight all the possibilities with wood. During the webinar you get to know more about how historical expertise, today’s innovators and future’s excellence together drive the transition to large scale, sustainable construction in wood. Besides hearing generally about the cluster, representatives of different actors in the cluster will talk about their expertise and role in it. In addition, the company Lindbäcks Bygg shares their experiences of benefits they have gained from the cluster.

 

You will also hear more about Trästad Sverige [Wood City Sweden],  a non-profit organization that promotes wood construction and disseminates knowledge to increase clients’ competency both in the municipal and private sectors. The network constitutes of municipalities and regions as well as e.g. real estate companies, architects, technical consultants and universities.
